Are you allowed to bring your dog to Freakfest in Madison, WI?

The dog will be in a costume, of course.

No.

I live in Waunakee, i can tell you right now you will be ticketed. You cause danger to yourself your dog and others, and with all the drinking etc, it wouldn’t be col to be out on state street with your dog and having people possibly hurt him while they are drunk. And drunk people are stupid.

I don’t know what Freakfest is, but I would advise you NOT to bring your dog to any such activity where there is alot of noise, people in odd costumes, etc. It can be very scary for a dog, especially a small and/or young one.
KellyO | Oct 15, 2009

If its something thats held outdoors out in public property, like a street fair, then a dog will likely be allowed.

If its indoors, charges to get in, or on some kind of private property (like a fairground), then no, the dog will not likely be allowed.

ADDED
Being that you have to PAY to get in.. I doubt your dog would be allowed

Why would you want to subject your dog to that? 35,000 + people, and in previous years they’ve had to use pepper spray to break up fights & rioting?
miaugh | Oct 15, 2009

Please do not bring your dog. Events like this are really scary for dogs and all to often at least one gets stepped on or runs away. Your dog will be much happier at home.

I Like This Boy Alot! And I Think I Got him mad, i bet i screwed things up. What Do I Do? urgently need advice?

I Like This ‘Boy’ whose older than me and hes graduating this year. Hes Just A Year Younger Than I Am.
Hes Really Cute, Funny, Really Popular, and especially SUPER nice :] I Would NEVER EVER EVER picture HIM asking ME to dance with him. Him Going For ME would be a total downgrade.. well by my opinion it would..!

Today We Had Our Halloween Dance Which Lasted for two hours. It was only for my grade and his grade, this year it didn’t really look like the ‘boy’ noticed me as much as i noticed him. We Would Always Just Say Hi and have Really short conversations, or if i pass by him he would say a quick joke and make me laugh.
During the dance, one of my friends told me he was looking for Me. Later On.. He went upto me and asked if i would dance with him, I Didn’t know what to say i was so nervous that i chocked and said "no.." i thought that he asked me as a joke.. because he’s a year older than me i didn’t know what to expect. He Went Upto Me and asked me again.. but i said no.. he asked again and i just looked at him with curiousity and he left.. he asked again, so i gave up and asked him "why..?" and all he said as an answer was "f*** this" he stormed off, i grabbed his arm and asked him "But Why would you want to dance with..me..?". and he replied by saying.. "let go.. nevermind.. forget it.. screw this, i’ll dance with my friend" and he just walked away. After that he sat down and looked down. Later On i would try to get his attention and ask HIM to dance with ME.. but i just screwed things up.. i dont want him to be mad at me..

i dont know what to say if i ever talk to him.. it would just lead to an awkward conversation. What Should I Do? Or Say to him in any of our conversations? Im So Confused And Hopeless Right Now..Please help? Please Help! :{

dam.. well to be honest you did mess up. but best thing to do is just admit it all as to why you didnt want to dance with him. if he understand than great. if he doesnt…. then sorry… =(
abel | Oct 30, 2009

yeah it sounds like u screwed it up. if a guy u like wants to dance with u why would u say no? u should just apologize and explain that u thought it was a joke & if he likes u enough he will accept it.
sexzii (: | Oct 30, 2009

Tell him that you thought that he was just messing with you and that you did not take him serious. When he asks why you would think that, just tell him because he is really cute and you did not think that he would be interested in you.
idon'tknow | Oct 30, 2009

"especially SUPER nice/""f*** this" Now that doesn’t sound nice.

All I see here is a misunderstanding between you two. Both of you wanted to dance with each other but you were nervous, so you couldn’t. You just have to explain to him that you were nervous and that you really did want to dance with him.

And I really don’t see anything wrong with him being a year older than you.
Chuksxp | Oct 30, 2009

You need to talk to him in person. Get him alone when he’s not busy and have a serious talk with him. Tell him everything you just said. Tell him how you feel like he’s out of your league and that he would only ask you to dance as a joke. Tell him you feel bad for not accepting his offer to dance and that you screwed up. Just be honest with him.
Umisquared_05 | Oct 30, 2009

He said "f*** that" and left is because he was mad you rejected him and he didn’t give you an explanation because your question of why did you want to dance with me was kind of stupid. He obviously wanted to dance with you after asking you three times. I don’t think you TOTALLY screwed up since i think he is interested in you, so just tell him you thought he was kidding and tell him you actually wanted to dance with him. The next day talk as if everything is okay and hopefully he’ll act the same.

Next time do not question a guy, just be gladly accept the offer. Anyone obviously would get pissed off and not give an explanation because they just got embarassed and feel totally down

Whats the best place to eat wings here in houston?

One that is close to the Cy Fair area.

Buffalo Wild Wings is horrible. Their wing sauce is generic crap. Believe me I worked there for 3 months and tried them all. You’re better off going to a Wing Stop or Hooters.

karmagfaqs | Aug 18, 2007

I LOVE Buffalo Wild Wings… I bet there is one near you just go look at their web site, they have locations all over!

If you like sports it’s a great place to go watch pay-per-view events… it’s my favorite place to watch UFC… good food nice people… great environment!

The only one I like is Wings and things on 290 and west34. Try the hot lemon pepper those are really good.

buffalo wild wings is great!! We go every tuesday for the 40cent wings, they also have great kids club packets for the kids and they have the best big screens!
nikkichick_2007 | Aug 17, 2007

I’ve never understood why anyone would want to eat a small, fatty, bony thing dipped in hot sauce. They’re revolting. Too bad they didn’t think of using the chicken breast instead.
Couple L | Aug 17, 2007

Wings and Things on 290 and W. 34th.
aj.sarabia | Aug 18, 2007

I like the Wing Stop on Kirkwood.
cookingpancake | Aug 18, 2007

Look for a WingStop there, its the best wings.
Harry C | Aug 18, 2007

While I was pregnant, the only thing I carved was hot wings with blue cheese dressing. We would always go to Wing Stop. They also have these yummy french fries. I think we ate there once or twice a week during my entire pregnancy. It is the best I have found in Houston, although not all are the same. I found my favourite is the one on Kirkandahyl(sp) and Louetta.
aromaofsage | Aug 18, 2007

If you like giant wings (obviously injected with steroids) Buffalo Wild Wings is the way to go. They’ve got a decent selection of sauces. I’m no wing connoisseur but I like Wing Stop because they have awesome fries, their wings look normal sized and their sauces are strong and flavorful. I especially like the parmesean garlic and hot.
cheapthrills | Aug 18, 2007

Best place is Wings N’More on Northwest and another on Westheimer.

If I’m not mistaking, you may have a wing stop near there. Wing stop is the best place for me. No one can be them.
D.J | Aug 20, 2007

There’s a wings-n-more on Hwy 6 near West Rd. There is also a Wing Stop on Hwy 6 closer to West Little York.

Personal preference is Wings n More — but I like the 2 for Tuesday and $0.75 draft beer Thursdays! There’s a special everyday of the week and the service is usually good.
HoUsToN_LoCa | Aug 20, 2007

Start by heading to the airport. Find the next flight to Buffalo and take a cab to Duff’s, the best place for wings. Buffalo Wild Wings is OK. We actually have them hear in Buffalo. Kind of strange when every mom and bob shop has wings.

the US agreed to pay $15 million for this grant of land which included present day california, nevada, new mex?

the US agreed to pay $15 million for this grant of land which included present day california, nevada, new mexico, utah, most of arizona, and parts of colorado and wyoming.

I know about as much as the average American, about American History, and I am English..so at a guess I would say it was "The Louisianna purchase" but I might be wrong.

What is ‘The Mexican Cession’.

US also agreed to assume another 3M in debt owed to US citizens by the former government of Mexico.

I got an 'easy out' stuck in the exhaust part on the head of my f250. How do I get it out?

While trying to extract a bolt that’s broken flush out of the head, I got an easy out stuck inside. It is also broken off flush.
It’s a 1971 f250 if that makes any difference… I have no idea how to go about getting any of it out now.
Thanks for any help!

you need a hard bit and a slow speed drill
brian d | Oct 24, 2009

Your not going to have much luck with the easy out if you don’t have a drill press. Heat around the stud with a torch and then plug weld a nut to whats left of the stud/easy out and try to break it loose that way.
Alex | Oct 24, 2009

Well you can’t drill it because its too hard. You can try to shatter it with a center punch and hammer. If you do get the easy out, out of the bolt then you will need to drill out the stuck bolt and re-tap it.
jay82 | Oct 24, 2009

just pull the head and send it to a machine shop before you ruin the head and have to pull it to replace it
Sonny | Oct 24, 2009

i have done that before with a acetylene torch
jim1 | Oct 24, 2009

ouch what a head ache now,you can get a specialist drill bit and drill out the easy out then,re drill the hole bigger(nearly all the broken bolt out just leaving the thread) if you can then try another larger easy out.
unfortunately the drill bit is expensive to buy for a one off use,see if you can find a engine reconditioner that will do the job for you this will probably cost the same as a drill bit but you can sit back and watch him struggle.hope this helps, good luck
Staffies are great | Oct 24, 2009

If that’s the only one that broke, you could use a gasket between the manifold and the head. The opposite bolt will probably be enough to hold a seal.Headers use a thick fiber type gasket that will work with the manifold too.
