IMDB rating: 6.20 Plot: Bartleby (B.) Gaines is a fun loving slacker who, unfortunately, gets turned down for every college he applied for, much to the charign of his overly expectant parents. So, with a little cutting and pasting, he creates the South Harmon Institute of Technology, and lo and behold, he is accepted (along with his friends Rory, Hands, and Glen, whose college plans were also all but dashed). However, his parents want to see the website, the campus, and the dean. So now he has his other friend Sherman (who has been accepted to the prestigious Harmon College) build a web page, they lease out an abandoned psychiatric hospital, and they hire Sherman’s uncle Ben (played to perfection by comedian Lewis Black) to be the dean. Problem solved? Not quite. The web page was done so well, that hundreds of students show up at the front door, all of which were turned down by other colleges. Faced with no choice, Bartleby decides to proceed with turning South Harmon into a real college, and sets about figuring out what to teach and how to teach it. Meanwhile at Harmon, dean Van Horne meets with Hoyt Ambrose, a rich law student and head of the KBE fraternity (which Sherman is trying to become a member of), to discuss building a gateway for Harmon using land presently being used by South Harmon. He tries finding the leaseholder of the land, to no avail. Meanwhile, his girlfriend, Monica, catches him cheating on her, and a big party at South Harmon lures a chunk of Harmon’s students away, including Monica into the arms of Bartleby. Now Hoyt uses Sherman, knowing he has been bouncing between the two schools, in an attempt to bring South Harmon down for good. However, Bartleby has an accreditation appointment with the state Board of Education to prove South Harmon’s worthiness. Can he legally bring the South Harmon Institute of Technology to life and win the love of Monica? |

I'm really angry, I got so embarrassed!?
OK so today there was a senior assembly in high school, and they announced the senior superlatives and there were awards like Most likely to succeed, Best eyes, Most athletic, that kind of stuff, and then they announced that I won most gullible, when I’m not gullible at all. There was just this one group of girls that hate me that all voted me for it. So I was embarrassed in front of the whole senior class, and I’m the class treasurer, I can’t be made a fool like that in front of everybody, Pictures for the Yearbook will be taken Dec 7, and I’m going to talk to the guy and yell at him after school today, I understand it’s not his fault, but I don’t think he should have announced it in front of the whole school, I mean I never accepted the award, I mean this was the ONLY AWARD that was "NEGATIVE" like really I don’t even know why it’s an award, I am so angry please help. I love Yahoo Answers and every member of its society.
move to a different school and leave them bastard
When you grow up you’ll realise they’ve done you a favour by giving you a great story to tell at dinners or parties – just practise telling it in an amusing way.
After all, you can’t rewind the clock, what’s done is done, so make it useful to you.

It’s hard to get over embarrassing things. The best response is no response, although this can be a tough thing to understand. I personally would like to know how your school could condone such a negative action.

Don’t make it worse miss! If you must confront the issue, confront the issue not the poor guy that had to read it! Remember, whomever wanted that to be read in front of the school, wanted you to respond in some way and they are just waiting for you to blow, so they can play you some more.
Whatever you do, be smart about it! Don’t make it worse, you make yourself into a fool! If you snap on this guy, you may only add to your problem.
Its not about what happens to you, its all about how you respond.
They wanted this to bother you, so if it does, they win! If you talk about it, or you start to go off on people, or even if you are just visibly upset-they will know that their plan worked.
If you seem to be just fine and unaffected, well this hurts worse than anything you can do. There is nothing worse than your hard work going unfulfilled.
So if I someone tried to play me like that, and people were saying things about it to me, I’d say, "Oh yeah, that was cute, I thought that was really funny!"
People will be like, "Oh, she’s not even trippin about it!"
Be cool miss! You’ll be alright! Soon this won’t even matter!
